Fees for Specialty Classes and Short-Term Series

Members use their prepaid class packages
Eight class package members deduct $10 from their package for each class attended.
Sixteen class package members deduct $9 from their package for each class attended.
 Non-members pay $12 for each class attended**

You only pay for classes you attend, but pre-registration is requested.

**(A non-member can also pay a $30 fee for a 3 week Short-Term Series

and $40 for a 4 week Short - Term series)

(The non member fee for Monthly Meditation Group is $10)

       This program can transform the

                      quality of your life.
You will be guided to create your personal intentions to amplify the impact of Yoga Nidra. You will also experience a gentle all-levels yoga session before being led into Yoga Nidra, the deeply relaxed state of yogic sleep. This ancient form of meditation brings you into an integrated state in which you tap into the power of Source.  Although deep and profound, the most challenging aspect of this technique  is to not fall asleep.

Beginners Tai Chi

A Three Week Series

 Discover how Tai Chi can  positively impact your life. This class is teaches the basics of the Yang Style 37 Short Form.  Learn basic Tai Chi postures and movements along with breathing techniques for relaxation and stress reduction.  Also learn methods to help improve balance, muscle tone and joint mobility.  These classes prepare novices for an easy transition into weekly ongoing Tai Chi classes offered at the Westfield Yoga Center.

Beginner MELT

A Three Week Series

MELT Method Master Trainer

                         Series Summary
Week One  – Focus on the MELT hand treatment, Rebalance Sequence and Neck Release Sequence to help with arthritis, carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, shoulder and neck pain as well as sleep issues and anxiety.
Week Two  - Focus on the MELT foot treatment and lower body compression sequence to help with plantar fasciitis, ankle, knee and low back pain.
Week Three  - Focus on review of previous weeks and adding on to the sequences for greater relief of aches and pain.

An Introduction to Meditation

Monthly Meditation Group

     We will be offering a monthly meditation group for individuals who participated in a 3 week Introduction to Meditation series at the Westfield Yoga Center. We also would like to invite other experienced meditators to the group. The meditation group is an opportunity to share best practices and continue to evolve your meditation practice to fit your life. In addition, continue to experience different techniques: mantra, meditation, seated meditation, concentration meditation (Trataka), & sound meditation.

Thursday, February 13:  HIP, HIP, HOORAY (Explore hip openers, galore!) In addition to the benefits of improved range of motion, improved circulation, and decreased back pain, opening the hips can create an energetic shift or release as well.
Thursday, February 20:  THAT’S A WRAP (Focus on the core muscles that wrap the body) The core is the literal center of our balance and strength – a physical and an energetic space which is linked to emotional and spiritual elements of life.
Thursday, February 27:  THE HEART OF THE MATTER  (Low-impact cardio and strengthening) Mindfully raising your heart rate will activate your circulatory and   lymphatic systems to help rid the body of toxins. In addition, torch some calories and reduce stress. Please bring indoor sneakers for this session.
Thursday, March 5: THE DIVINE ALIGN (Restorative yoga) Relax and restore   with gentle postures, supported with props. We will incorporate guided meditation and breath work to encourage blissful alignment of body, breath, mind, heart, and spirit.
